Agadelcha - אגדלך (נהוואנד)

This beautiful melody from the Middle East is well-known among all types of Sepharadim. It fits perfectly for Kadish and Rau Banim. It's official maqam is nahawand which is similar to sahli.

Az Yashir Moshe maqam Raml Maya - אז ישיר משה מקאם רמל מאיא

As mentioned in previous posts of Az Yashir Moshe, hazanim often sing the shira to different maqamim weekly. Recorded here is the shira to the maqam of Raml Maya. The first third is recorded to the tune of Dodi Yarad Legano of Parashat Bereshit/Lech Lecha. The second third (nashafta) is the tune of Bene Elyon and the final third is a faster melody in the maqam. For Az Nivhalu I add an additional tune that can be sung but it's not necessary. Type "Az Yashir Moshe" in the search button above or check the index under "tefila" to see other tunes I've recorded.

Hazara Amida Musaf of Shabbat - חזרת עמידה מוסף של שבת

After much demand, here is the hazara of Musaf Amida for Shabbat. This completes all the Tefilot we have for Shabbat that a hazan can learn when repeating the Amida. To see/hear the rest, see the index.

Bakashot Lech Lecha Yotzer Miyado - בקשות לך לך יוצר מידו

Who knew that the famous song of Yotzer Miyado has its origins in our Bakashot. I record it in two tunes. The first tune is the traditional bakashot tune. Half way down I switch the tune to the more popular version that is sung by many Sepharadim today. It can be used to sing Shavat Aniyim, Rau Banim, El Adon and other quatrain songs.

Bakashot Bereshit Yedid Nefesh - בקשות בראשית ידיד נפש

In honour of the first week of Bakashot, in which there is always a tune of Yedid Nefesh sung at its onset, here is the famous Yedid Nefesh for Parashat Bereshit. I sing this tune to either Rau Banim or Kedusha.
